What are some challenges for training teachers on ID skills, and what might obstruct their daily use of the scientific processes? What tools and supports do they need?

What is the analageous  relationships among training instrructional designers/learning designers, teachers, and students on ID/LD skills. ID is instructional design, LD is learning design.
